Acupuncture

Acupuncture works to restore a state of natural balance in the body so that the body can heal itself as it is designed to do.

Acupuncture has its origins dating back thousands of years. It is a traditional practice that restores the body’s functions through the placement of fine needles along pathways or meridians. Through gentle insertion at different acupuncture points, a therapeutic effect is achieved body-wide. There is data today that support acupuncture’s effects on the nervous, endocrine and immune systems.

A large part of acupuncture’s relaxation effect is through the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. When the body is truly out of fight-or-flight, it makes it easier to correct its own imbalances.

Acupuncture is designed to address both chronic & acute health conditions such as:

  • Allergies (seasonal or chronic)

  • Arthritis, fibromyalgia
